Gryphus Capital (pronounced gri’fus) takes
its name from the latin name for Gryphon.
The Gryphus is a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head and wings of an eagle.
As the lion is traditionally considered the king of the beasts and the eagle, the king of the birds; the Gryphus is considered a stately, majestic and powerful creature.

Our symbol also represents the Chinese mythical creature Qilin
(麒麟) reflecting the Firm’s blend of Asian/global culture and business backgrounds.

Gryphus Capital’s symbol is an abstract and progressive representation of the Gryphus, designed in accordance with the principles of simplicity, modernity and longevity.
